Nikki Haley is a good Republican.  She has run more of a national campaign than Densantis did.  Desantis' campaign was this:

• I did great **** in Florida
• Florida should be the model for all other 49 states
• Vote for me because Florida's #1.

While I prefer Trump over Haley, I'm not going to get on this forum and put her down.  Her views on the issues match mine and match Trump's to a large degree.

That was Desantis' entire campaign.  He sucked.  The sad thing is Desantis doesn't even realize how bad he sucked.  Out-of-touch doesn't even begin to describe the man.
 

             If anything Nikki Haley is honest...... She was truthful when she said it was down to a 2-person race... Unfortunately for her is those 2 people are now Donald Trump & Joe Biden.

Yes and she is a hot ticket- a wise arss too. She left her man in maine- packed up her car and no one knew...- Drove to florida and never looked back... called me-3 weeks later-

Great!  And, I actually like Desantis.  But, his Florida-Florida-Florida speeches do not resonate with the rest of the nation.

          As a Floridian, I'll concede many folks here were surprised how awkward and out of his element DeSantis appeared on the Big Stage.... 
   THat said, we're happy to have him as Governor, and his next move might be to run for Senator...  He can also use that time to step up his game and learn to make a better presentation of himself....

DeSantis was out of his element, unprepared, when you go up against Trump you need to put up a better show.. Haley sucks but she knows how to play the game, I loved this one, bootgate, I never heard his explanation for that..

Now, that's a fair assessment.  Like I said, I actually like DeSantis.  I think he's a good executive.  His rollout and his campaign platform totally sucked.  Here's one thing that many Floridians don't understand - the other 49 states tend to dislike Floridians.  Some see Florida as a bunch of Northeastern loudmouth transplants "Floridiots". Others see Florida as overrun with Hispanics. Others see a place for Midwestern "snowbirds" to flock during the winter. Whether fair or unfair, caused by vapid jealousy or partial truths, or whatever, Floridians don't seem to get this.  DESANTIS DIDN'T GET THIS.  He doubled-down on being a Floridiot.  Don't say the "F" word when you want votes from G, A, O, the I states, the N states and the C states.
