The country of Senegal, Africa has a Presidential Election coming up and the incumbent President has announced he is stepping down and not running again. The list of candidates on the ballot has been shortened as the opposition candidate has been declared ineligible for inclusion on the ballot.

The reason? He has a suspened sentence for some kind of defamation.....and I thought only the USA was progressive enough to suspend a citizen's right of free speech. At least we haven't devolved into killing our political foes with machetes yet.....we just lock them up in prisons.

It probably won't happen until Trump's in office for his second term...
