Past comments on past immigration bills that did not age well:When the U.S. Congress passed—and President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law—the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, the move was largely seen as symbolic.
"The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants,” lead supporter Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy (D-Mass.) told the Senate during debate. “It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.”That sentiment was echoed by Johnson, who, upon signing the act on October 3, 1965, said the bill would not be revolutionary: “It does not affect the lives of millions … It will not reshape the structure of our daily lives or add importantly to either our wealth or our power.”

“Folks, I voted for a fence, I voted, unlike most Democrats – and some of you won’t like it – I voted for 700 miles of fence,” Biden told the group. “But, let me tell you, we can build a fence 40 stories high – unless you change the dynamic in Mexico and – and you will not like this, and – punish American employers who knowingly violate the law when, in fact, they hire illegals. Unless you do those two things, all the rest is window dressing.”

“Now, I know I’m not supposed to say it that bluntly, but they’re the facts, they’re the facts. And so everything else we do is in between here. Everything else we do is at the margins. And the reason why I add that parenthetically, why I believe the fence is needed does not have anything to do with immigration as much as drugs,” Biden continued. “And let me tell you something folks, people are driving across that border with tons, tons, hear me, tons of everything from byproducts for methamphetamine to cocaine to heroin and it’s all coming up through corrupt Mexico.”

Later:Speaking at a September 2007 debate at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, Biden said he would not allow so-called sanctuary cities to ignore federal law.“Yes or no, would you allow those cities to ignore the federal law?” Biden was asked. “No,” he responded.

I don't disagree with him.  He said what he said.  But, don't forget the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act .  Biden has been President 3 years now.  At any point he could have been imposing penalties on the employers.

This discussion is about Biden and what he really wants.  Right now, Biden is President.  Right now, that precludes the others.  You are using the same excuse my sons used as children.  "But he didn't do it".  "Or, he gets away with it".

You are diverting.  Because you go nuttin'.

Biden has had the ability to do what he said needed to be done in the past.  And you can say is "no one else did it".

Thanks to title 42 and other things there wasn't much to bitch about concerning the border relative to now.  Remember, partisan, your boy immediately went to the oval office to undo everything Trump.  That is why we are where we are not now concerning the border.  Remain in Mexico was working so well that Mexico had to secure it's southern border Title 42 became a two for one deal.

Your whataboutism just went down the toilet.  And remember, Partisan, this thread is about Biden.

Now, I had plenty of thread bitching about Trump but the border was not one of them, Partisan.

Nice find...!
The die was cast way back then...but the [[[JWO]]] patiently waited for the patriotic WWII Generation to die off before daring to "ramp up" the pace of their Illegal Alien Invasion Program to what it is now.

Why?

Do you know anything about the history of such efforts?

A reversal Trump's Border policy which was working --- 2.5 Million crossing into this country in 2023 --- Sanctuary Cities in hysterics --- and every attempt possible made to remove us from the vetting process...

Turn the southern border into a military duty station.
Elect  a US President who will face the public on camera and spread the word that those who hire Illegal Aliens will be arrested and prosecuted
The [[[JWO]]] agenda to flood millions of Third World Primitives into every White Christian ruled nation on Earth is why  efforts to seal off the border  "is just window dressing"
