There is a catastrophic crisis that could add another quarter of a million to the population of illegal aliens in this country in less than a year.
According to former officials in the Obama administration, the standard for a border crisis was 1,000 attempted crossings a day.
Who was on the team that set that standard?
President Joe Biden—then vice president—and Alejandro Mayorkas, then deputy secretary, and now secretary, of homeland security.

When the Trump administration ended, the U.S. was deporting more people than were illegally coming into the country.

In less than a month under Biden, the number of people illegally coming into the country is more than 6,000 per day—that’s six times the crisis level as set by the Obama team.
According to a source with knowledge of what’s happening at our southern border, the Border Patrol, in one day, encountered 4,700 people trying to illegally enter the U.S. About another 900 were observed but not detained. In addition, another 400 were detained and sent back.
This volume is straining resources at the border.
Changing someones quote is so yesterday 😏

And if they really want to stop the millions that come here for work

they need to charge the companies too ... not the foreman

Australia has the idea

Invidiuals can be penalised up to $126,000 and companies up to $630,000 per serious contravention. It is your responsibility as an employer to ensure that you do not hire illegal workers. Employers face civil and even criminal penalties of up to $315,000 and/or five years imprisonment per illegal worker.
I'm fine with that regarding the Employers... I've no issues paying a little more for my salad if it removes one of the incentives for them to sidestep our vetting process & immigration laws... I'm certainly all for Work Visas --- perhaps more resources could be allocated to improving / expanding that process rather than handing out Bus Tickets to Chicago or NYC.
