the military struggled to compete with higher-paying businesses in the tight job market, particularly as companies began to offer the types of benefits — such as college funding — that had often made the military a popular choice. Those economic problems were only exacerbated by the sharp political divide in the country and young people's fears of being killed or injured going to war.

Under the new plan, Navy recruits without an education credential will be able to join as long as they score 50 or above on the qualification test, which is out of 99.

No diploma? No problem! Navy again lowers requirements as it struggles to meet recruitment goals (msn.com)

Actually I like it and think it should follow across the branches. It’s appropriate. Why should someone with brains and usefulness blow up or get shot up in some goddamned **** county? Empty the jails and nuthouses too and sign ‘em up. It’s what the military deserves.

Empty all the jails, nut houses, and conscript the illegal invaders to get ground up in DC’s satanic war machine.

That's the way it was in the early 80s across the military branches.

Threaten to blow up Irans oil terminals and watch how fast the attacks stop. You stop Irans oil production and shipping and they are broke.

this is not some major shift. In my day, HS diplomas were never required to enlist in the armed forces.

Empty the jails. Let the criminals get shot and bombed up. The criminals and the military are natural partners.

The idea of our nations best being in the military is absurd on its face. What a tragic waste.

THEY WON'T BE DEFENDING MURICA. THEIR USEFULLNESS WILL BE TO SUBVERT STATE SOVEREIGNTY IN CONJUNCTION WITH NATO. ALL PART OF THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT MANIFESTO.
