Trump leading in the polls is the only reason it hasn't crashed.

Not in the stock market right now. 2024 isn’t going to be fun. Nov 2024 will probably be very fun though.

I’m not savvy at all so I invest in index funds.

I've learned not to sit out election years.  The fed will bend over backwards not to do anything drastic or stupid.  Biden is looking for ways to pump money into the system. 

Now, in November, if Biden is in for another 4 years - look for the big crash.  I will be watching  the polls closely in August, and if Trump is **** the dog, I will liquidate some and put money on the sidelines.

why is every market correction called a crash and every growth a recovery when all it does is measure economic trade between lifetimes adapting as displaced?
