In the wake of three American soldiers losing their lives to Iranian proxies, Representative Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., has put forth the nomination of former President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination is grounded in Trump’s role in brokering the Abraham Accords, described by Tenney as a “historic” treaty that marked the first new peace agreements in the Middle East in nearly three decades.
