Somebody here in NHB mentioned how **** up it will be in the entire country when the **** REALLY hits hard. Our toilet paper panic was a great example of how little we tolerate in any disruptions or mild inconveniences.

It's pretty hard to disagree with that. Power outages and food shortages. People are pretty anti-social these days.

The stories about the 1930's were fairly grim but people did try to help or at least not take advantage.
I'm sure there were problems but I just see a wave of nasty bastards these days. We are disconnected.

             As I've said....
     I put the blame on the irresponsible vote-sucking Democrats that have done everything imaginable to incentivize people from every corner of the         globe to pour into our country... 

       

this information will save your life : the revolution is coming. get out of diversification demographic areas. they will be blood baths. go to homogeneous demographic areas. where everyone will be on the same side. big cities will be shooting galleries. states like idaho will be peaceful. will shut down all entry points. state of Idaho and Maine must put together a 'doomsday revolution plan'.

       This is something I've discussed with my Father, whom I'm still blessed to have... 
 Both of my parents were children of the Depression, my Father having been born in 1930... It was much more difficult for Dad's side of the family because his parents were immigrants, and Grandpa had become a day laborer after the tannery he worked in closed..

      Dad said they were very frightening & difficult times --- but help did exist.. That help came from one's extended family, neighbours, community, church, faith based charities, etc.... He also mentioned it was a far better source of assistance than much of the entitlement programs today because it was an altruistic gift from the heart --- which the recipients appreciated... And also importantly, because those receiving the help knew the people who were providing it  ---  there was a personal connection, which served as an incentive for those capable to try and help themselves... In the case of Dad's family, there were a few years where my Dad and his 2 siblings would be dropped at the Salvation Army Centre in the early mornings, where they'd be fed and cared for while his parents went out to find work that day ... Then they'd come get them to take home at the end of the day.. This was never forgotten, and to date the Salvation Army remains our family's charity we support.  

       Now, largely thanks to the Government that connection to those who give and those who receive no longer exists... And  what we now have is a safety net which has been put on offer as a viable career path -- breeding generational dependency which has really helped no one but Vote-seeking Democrats.

            Funny you should say that.... 
  My oldest brother and his family moved to Northern Idaho about 15 years ago.... It seems a great many other people are acting on your notion as well, as a lot of folks have been moving into his area coming from Oregon & California.... Fortunately, he said they are of the Conservative variety....
