According to NBC News, yes I know, the cancelled comedian Shane Gillis will host Saturday Night Live on February 24th. I hope this is the curve of the future. There has been a lot of movement on this front lately with a moving of the goalposts on what is acceptable speech. Of course, there probably needs to be some sort of goalposts. On the other hand, there are things that you should be able to say. Men are probably men because of the XY pair of genes in every cell in their body is probably hard for some people to realize. What is acceptable speech has its merits in my opinion and I probably won't watch given its on a network late on Saturday. But hey, they are making a movie about the original cast! That will probably be exciting.

Evolving is a continuous affect effecting every ancestor alive. Those goal posts that keep moving, is your body never same total sum twice.
Grow up into a real ancestor and not some social identity lost cradle to grave believing life is a mystery nobody can navigate as eternally separated now.

No one watches Saturday Night Live.  Not since it became a place for un-funny political rantings and censorship.  You might as well be talking about Bud Light.

I might watch it soon just to see if it's still as miserable as when I quit watching long ago.

its still pretty good

but that’s about it

Sometimes the guy that plays tRump is funny (he does about the best voice imitation they have had)

That was the highlight of the show. I hated Tina Fey a lot though.
Dennis Miller and Norm McDonald were the stand outs IMO.

Maybe they've had some decent ones since but I haven't watched in years.
Seth Myers is a complete piece of human debris. Tina Fey was better.

I can't understand how it's still on the air. I mean, obviously they still get viewers, but who are these people that still watch? They just aren't funny anymore. They used to be, but now it's just a huge flop.

I agree - decades ago it was fun to stay up to watch the few skits that were funny.  Some, even iconic.  But, it hasn't been funny for many many years.
