Yippie Ky-Yay ****....Got trays of onions, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus and lavador plants under the lights so far.....and blueberry bushes do make excellent landscaping plants....nothing like walking in the house with dirty Spring shoes and a dog with wet feet.

Nice.  I spent a beautiful cool day painting our fence.  Asked my wife about the possibility of adding some razor wire - - she just said "stay out here and keep working while I go get more paint"!

Nope...midwest....I got a fair sized growing table...double decker...around 100 square feet.   Freshly grown vegetables year round...no weed tho.....people always say I should grow it but it's legal here if you want it and I don't want the whole house stinking.

well, it's raining in MN today and been in the 40's, but I'm not about to put the dock out if the ice goes....

hay bales and an old window laid on top would get your garden going...instant greenhouse.  I get hard up this time of year...I need to dig in the dirt

I'll admit, the weather is weird, yet I remember it getting down to 5 in early May 20 yrs back...took most of the leaves out...

don't watch gardening **** on youtube....you'll be outside plowing snow drifts and trying planting corn on New Years Day.

Winter hobby is coin collecting and coin roll hunting.....I find some really good stuff doing it....this year my big find was a 1969-S DDO Lincoln penny....went straight to the safety box at the bank...let the kids have it.

Youtube's cooking show will suck you in to

LOL...my winter hobby is a lathe and mill I'm trying to get working...

 I told the wife that while it's great I haven't had to put my winter tires on, I am highly disappointed I haven't had to put the snowblower on the tractor with my newly installed hydraulic chute...is there no justice?

I got told compost was going up to $350 a load so I got in touch with tree trimmers and landscapers....they do free drops....got a mountain of wood chips and a mountain of leaves...will be getting all their grass cuttings as well this spring.  They were hailing it up to the city to a compost place to get rid of it.  It will save 2 loads of compost and 5 or 6 loads of chips this season.

This year I will get those elusive 2 pound onions or face humiliation on a massive scale
