So today is Feb 15.  My brother thinks he's slick by buying candy on sale today.  He even got free flowers because he knows that when the flowers get older, then just give them away.  You just have to time it early in the morning.

He came up with some schedule excuse for why he didn't deliver the goods yesterday.  I was at their house picking up a pig.  It was pretty tense, and I could tell my sister-in-law was ticked.  They have a three year old and you could even see how she felt the tension.  I left pretty quick.    
 

He should have just bought the candy and froze it for preservation. And then give it to her next year. Same thing with cards. You can buy 4-5 if they're really cheap and just save them. Giving gifts the day after is just really bad. Obviously. lol
