For those that aren't Russia watchers this is big news. Navalny was a critic of the Putin administration and led anti corruption rallies and posted a video on Youtube pointing out Putin's corruption. He was also the subject of an Oscar winning documentary and was in exile when he decided to return to Russia where he was charged with crimes against the state. I've posted a link to a video of a Russian raid on one of his ally's homes to make a message against censorship in any form. Remember that in America Tucker Carlson is allowed to interview Vladmir Putin and only faces the court of public opinion. Speaking out against Putin seems to be another matter.

The Communist party is the strongest group at about 15%.
Parties that are Pro-West get very little support.
