The United-States has the biggest prison population ever and it's all about "harsher sentences" and "being tough on crime" instead of redemption and rehabilitation. This is why the Norway system works and the USA system doesn't work. Norway has a very low recidivism rate and their street are safer because they treated offenders humanely. In the US prisons offenders are subjected to the most horrific forms of abuse and living conditions like the ones you see in the videos above and the guards turn a blind eye to prisoners being physically, sexually and mentally abused (the guards do jack **** squat to stop it), those prisoners become more damaged, more scared, more traumatised, more mentally ill, more violent as a result of all the abuse and mental scarring and inhumane living conditions.

And because their mental health gets worse and deteriorates as a result of all the abuse and inhumane living conditions in those prisons where the staff never face consequences for allowing abuse and inhumane treating on the prisoners and of course because of the hate and resentment the victimized and re-victimized prisoner feels for this man's inhumanity to man, they get out of jail ten times more than when they got in and the streets in the United-States of America are even less safe for everyone as a result of that (also there are more **** mass shooting in America than pretty much anywhere else on the planet).

But the US will continue to ignore the people from all over the world who say that restorative justice the likes you see in Norway works better than punitive "justice", that it's insane that the US has such a huge prison population, and that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again.

Americans ignore he voice of reason. And they continue to practice mass incarceration (and endless wars), and then they wonder why the rest of the world depise the US and protest US policies in huge protests all over the world because they can't take this insanity anymore, it makes our society and streets less safe, it causes mental health crises, it turns people into animals, it increases and not decrease the crime rate in our society. Mass incarceration and the horrific inhumane living conditions and abuse going on in US prisons is a huge problem that a lot of us feel the need to talk about and there are a lot of conversations in Youtube videos, books, documentation, blogs, websites, etc, all over the Internet.

If US Americans don't solve the problem of mass incarceration and horrific inhumane living conditions in American prisons, it's gonna cost them a **** of a lot more than one trillion dollars. And most of this money instead of going to waste, could have been used to feed, clothe, house and Americans who are poor, sick, homeless, disabled, etc, and providing them with affordable basic health care and literacy. The idiot Conservatives who created the mass incarceration and inhumane living conditions in those prisons to begin with keep screaming "America first, American people first!" just to virtue signal and pat themselves on the back as they give off the illusion of caring while not actually giving a **** about their country and their fellow Americans, even homeless disabled veterans who are left with nothing after they've been used as canon fodders in endless wars by the Right-Wingers in the white house (as George Carlin himself said when he called the Conservaties out on their "prolifer" hypocrisy, "Conservatives don't give a **** about you until you reach military age, then they think you're just fine, just what they've been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. They're not pro-life. You know what they are? Conservatives don't want poor and/or disabled/impaired people to get an education (if the country has money for bombs, it has money for free college and student loan debt forgiveness) because uneducated people are easier to scare, manipulate and control and some of them won't even think of revolting. Just like Conservatives were terrorizing the congregants in the Right-Wing circles I was in over 12 years ago before I left the Conservative party for good (they still do that today, but I don't want to be part of that ****, I left and I never looked back), they were terrorizing the congregants with doomsday Conservative **** to make people live in fear and paranoia (and pushing baseless conspiracy theories about how "the evil jews, muslims, gays, women, atheists and "the other" is gonna come and destroy your lives and your country and take everything you have" because they wanted to turn their congregants against women and minorities because they hate the marginalized communities and don't want them to have basic civil rights let alone equality) and keep them under their thumbs, That's spiritual terrorism. And it's sickening. I'm proud to be Non-Partisan/Independent. Conservative interpretations of the bible are not only evil and **** up but also poison for the soul and the mental health.

Blacks also have much higher levels of the MAOA "chimpout gene" that predisposes them to impulse control issues [violence].
The problem has grown to a very large scale by now and there simply isn't any place in our "Titanium Age" society for these "Stone Age" people to fit.

Every society spawned by intellect needs to teach how instincts navigate space mutually evolving as individually here in series parallel time adapting since conceived to replace previous ancestry never evolving beyond spontaneously alive, simultaneously living birth to dead, now.

****** are about 5 times more likely to commit violent crime than Whites and Browns are about twice as likely as Whites to do the same.
Poverty is no excuse for violent crime....if it was then the 90 plus percent White USA population of the 1930s would have been wiping itself out with 100s of shootings on a daily basis.
Yes the USA population was well over 90% White back then and the per capita murder rate wasn't anything like it is now. 
Back then they didn't issue EBT Cards or have Section 8 Housing, either. 
The people had to patiently stand in lines wrapped around the block for whatever it was the government  were handing out that day.
Regardless of how bad our crime stats might look, once you distance yourself from our subhuman standard Urban Congos and Africa USA neighborhoods... the vast majority of  White people in their 98% White neighborhoods go "Cradle to Grave" without ever witnessing murder or even just blood on the sidewalk for that matter..

 
 

We need to get tougher on crime and fraud and lock up people that do fraud for life. Or the death penalty.
