If US Americans don't solve the problem of mass incarceration and horrific inhumane living conditions in American prisons, it's gonna cost them a **** of a lot more than one trillion dollars. And most of this money instead of going to waste, could have been used to feed, clothe, house and Americans who are poor, sick, homeless, disabled, etc, and providing them with affordable basic health care and literacy. The idiot Conservatives who created the mass incarceration and inhumane living conditions in those prisons to begin with keep screaming "America first, American people first!" just to virtue signal and pat themselves on the back as they give off the illusion of caring while not actually giving a **** about their country and their fellow Americans, even homeless disabled veterans who are left with nothing after they've been used as canon fodders in endless wars by the Right-Wingers in the white house (as George Carlin himself said when he called the Conservaties out on their "prolifer" hypocrisy, "Conservatives don't give a **** about you until you reach military age, then they think you're just fine, just what they've been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. They're not pro-life. You know what they are? They are anti-woman, simple as it gets, they're anti-woman, they don't like women. They think a woman's primary role in life is to function as a broodmare for the state.")
Conservatives don't want poor and/or disabled/impaired people to get an education (if the country has money for bombs, it has money for free college and student loan debt forgiveness) because uneducated people are easier to scare, manipulate and control and some of them won't even think of revolting. Just like Conservatives were terrorizing the congregants in the Right-Wing circles I was in over 12 years ago before I left the Conservative party for good (they still do that today, but I don't want to be part of that ****, I left and I never looked back), they were terrorizing the congregants with doomsday Conservative **** to make people live in fear and paranoia (and pushing baseless conspiracy theories about how "the evil jews, muslims, gays, women, atheists and "the other" is gonna come and destroy your lives and your country and take everything you have" because they wanted to turn their congregants against women and minorities because they hate the marginalized communities and don't want them to have basic civil rights let alone equality) and keep them under their thumbs, That's spiritual terrorism. And it's sickening. I'm proud to be Non-Partisan/Independent. Conservative interpretations of the bible are not only evil and **** up but also poison for the soul and the mental health.

****. Wall Street uses thuggery to mandate it. Wall Street pays their slaves to write laws allowing school systems to bully parents to force them to feed their children amphetamines. Child Protective Service and other government funded agencies can charge parents with "Medical Neglect" for refusing to give their child ritalin. Parents should not have to be master litigators and experts at dealing with bullying state officials just to send their kid to school.RedheadedStranger » 19 Feb 2024, 7:06 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm not blaming liberty and freedom as much as I'm saying they play a bigger part in this Country's woes than just capitalism. Liberty and freedom give the parents the right to give Wall Street's drugs to the kids... Capitalism is just the vehicle that allows it.

When does the good start? Our medical system has been enslaved. We are arguing over which bathroom to use. That MEANS something.
To someone, somewhere. I'll bet.

Spoiler alert - I blame wall street for that.
Capitalism sucks ***. It is utterly opposed to free enterprise - which is why if a kid did that today, wall street's pigs would very likely find a pretext to arrest that kid's parents.
There has always been "social trend addiction" with the masses..but with Social Media and camera equipped cell phones the social trend addiction and the need to virtue signal with the rest of the flock has never been stronger.RedheadedStranger » 19 Feb 2024, 7:45 pm » wrote: ↑ It totally blows my mind how easily the masses are steered by just a handful of powerful people.
A poster here pasted a story about people wearing depends to Taylor Swift concerts so they wouldn't miss anything by needing to go piss.
They choose to piss themselves rather than miss a second of their idol.
It's **** insane.
I doubt some Oooga Boooga nation we send millions of dollars worth of aid to will quibble over having us send them 20,000 prisoners that they can use as SLAVES...?Cannonpointer » 19 Feb 2024, 7:50 pm » wrote: ↑ The thing is, we're not REALLY "sending them money."
We're sending them weapons. And we're not going to make demands - they might stop taking the weapons, and peace might break out.
Can't have that.
I have serious doubts that you were ever a capitalist.RedheadedStranger » 19 Feb 2024, 7:52 pm » wrote: ↑ What I learned from pulling that cart of catalogs around my neighborhood at 9 years old has allowed me to be in the position today of not having to work (I still do, by choice, and only when I want to) or depending on a Govt check to eat some beans and watch reruns of Survivor.
A combination of capitalism, freedom, and liberty provided me that opportunity... along with a healthy dose of determination and resolve.
Unfettered capitalism doesn't work, just like unfettered socialism (communism) doesn't either.
Ask the Chinese.
Likely not - but be aware that the ooga booga nations are pretty much telling us to **** off these days. Turns out the chinee treat em a **** of a lot better than we do.GHETTOBLASTER » 19 Feb 2024, 8:00 pm » wrote: ↑ I doubt some Oooga Boooga nation we send millions of dollars worth of aid to will quibble over having us send them 20,000 prisoners that they can use as SLAVES...?
I'll be the first to tell ya I'm not a Capitalist. LOLCannonpointer » 19 Feb 2024, 8:01 pm » wrote: ↑ I have serious doubts that you were ever a capitalist.
Capitalism is a government created, government supported, top-down economic model that opposes free enterprise.
Did you oppose free enterprise and make money from government favors? What was your cut of the bush-bama bailouts?

No, really.

I think I got $600 between the two, and I didn't ask for it... but I damned sure cashed the check.
As far as pandemic payments, I didn't participate.
I know. I was being sarcastic. You corrupt and I try to deprogram the corrupted. You have academia, arts, economics, politics, religions, social consensus of previous 4 generation gaps sacrificing their own replacements to continue pretending life isn't self evident. All I get is the opportunity on free message boards like this and face daily ridicule and such for my efforts.Cannonpointer » 19 Feb 2024, 8:22 pm » wrote: ↑ No. Why should I? Deprogramming is a complex business. Corrupting is quite simple.Nostradamus'omh » 19 Feb 2024, 8:24 pm » wrote: ↑ I know. I was being sarcastic. You corrupt and I try to deprogram the corrupted.
clocks, calendars, flow chart statistical averaging, economic zero based budgeting promises of better tomorrows than genetics sustains numbers so far. I learned about evolving in real time experiencing evolving in real time. humanity educates/programs possibilities to each newborn brain to continue reciting what people were led to believe possible obeying evolution theory since the 19th century and all the missing links created by statistically averaging the past against each arriving replacement each generation gap forward.
But they are identifiable if folks in power would ALLOW this. I assume that is your point.Cannonpointer » 19 Feb 2024, 6:19 pm » wrote: ↑ Yup.
