High School Team Forfeits Game After Transgender Player Injures 3 Girls (msn.com)

A high school girls basketball team in Massachusetts forfeited its game at halftime following multiple injuries. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell reportedly forfeited its game against Kipp Academy at halftime. Kipp Academy reportedly has a transgender player on its roster. Multiple injuries were reportedly caused by the player during the game, which got physical. The player is over six feet tall and has facial hair.
Kipp Academy was leading the game, 31-14. However, it'll go into the rulebook as a 10-0 win via forfeit. When the coach saw three girls go down in the first half leaving him with few players, he made the call to end the game early."
"Once the third was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play. The players feared getting injured and not being able to compete in the playoffs. "Video of the game has been trending on social media. The transgender athlete debate has become more and more of a talking point. Legendary sports announcer Bob Costas shared his thoughts when speaking to Bill Maher. “People may not realize this, the individual federations that govern these sports make up their own rules. So World Aquatics may have different rules than FIFA or the Track and Field Association,” Costas said “So I understand that when it comes to Olympic boxing, that federation will allow trans women to compete against biological women, at birth biological women. That seems crazy.”
He continued. “It’s not transphobic to say ‘Let’s inject some common sense here,'” Costas said. “A lot of this is murky. We know that some people who use this as an issue actually are hostile towards trans people, or people who after carefully considered decisions at a certain point in life, decide that they’ll be happier and closer to their true selves- I think any sensitive person is aligned with that.”

What amazes me are the number of people that accept this as some kind of sick truth.

If the fathers of those girls were to send a message to the School Board authorities who are at fault for allowing this to happen... I would completely understand .

As a former basketball official (high school varsity and small college), the officials should have taken control. They let the game get physical. One of the first things new officials are taught is not all contact is a foul. Contact that puts another player at a disadvantage (or gives the offending player an advantage) is a foul. They should have called the game tight (which most are taught to do when a game starts getting physical). Odds are he would have gotten into foul trouble quickly and his coach would have put him on the bench. All an official has to do is apply the rules as intended and communicate with the players and coaches. Do those things and most games go smoothly. Obviously, there are exceptions, but that comes with the avocation.

Sorry, but just quitting isn't enough.  These sickos celebrate their "win" when that happens.  I've seen it firsthand.  The girls need to be ready for an aggressive male on the court and be coordinated enough to beat the living **** out of him.  So, they lose the game either way.  But, wouldn't you rather see them go down winning the fight?  That type of action will make the news, impact regular people and end up being a debate in Congress.
