Actually, I think Abbott is far too valuable to lose his leadership in closing the TX border to illegals, and I'd hate to lose him there.

My choice would be another outsider like Trump himself, someone like Keri Lake or Candace Owens.  I'll take either one of them in a debate between ANY Democrat, as I still believe their nominee will NOT be the inept and corrupt Biden.  Can't you just picture what either of those women would do to a dope like Kamala in a VP debate?

look at you playing to social consensus by selecting a female vp. Not that I don't think they are bad choices, as they are persons I can agree about to an extent.

However, they defend humanity over humans evolving as equally eternally separated as displaced. Doesn't solve the underlying problem of this species destroying itself inside out.

Frankly, I don't give a **** if his VP selection is a man or woman, or whether he or she be black or white.  If you think that choosing one of them is nothing but a social ploy, you couldn't be more wrong.

I see only how an outsider like Trump upset the incredible degree of government corruption that existed when he was elected, and I think he needs someone who can be a great mouthpiece for him in the same manner.  And the selection of either Keri Lake or Candace Owens would quickly become respected and admired by all in the Republican party, and their common sense would be a perfect mirror of Trump's vision for the country, as someone who is equally capable of fighting back against the media onslaught that is certain to come at his VP selection, no matter who he selects.

Abbott isn't on Trump's short list for VP. His short list is: DeSantis, Byron Donalds, Gabbard, Noem, Ramaswamy, and Scott.

It won't be Ramaswamy. And, I don't see how it can be DeSantis, since they are from the same state.
