The Democrats continue in their efforts to subvert the Constitution by allowing illegals to vote. Illegal voters are expected to number in the millions in November, all for Biden and all guided by texts received from the government cell phones. It’s all part of the plan to destroy freedom.In a significant development for election integrity, a state appeals court ruled on Wednesday that a New York City law allowing noncitizen voting in local elections is unconstitutional. The decision, issued by the Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York on Feb. 21, declared the law, known as “Our City, Our Vote,” null and void, stating that it was enacted in violation of the New York State Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.

The law, passed in December 2021 by the Democrat-controlled New York City Council, aimed to permit approximately 800,000 documented noncitizens with federal work authorizations to participate in all municipal elections, including those for mayor. Advocates, primarily Progressive Democrats, argued that the measure would enhance inclusivity in U.S. politics by granting voting rights to immigrants without citizenship.Former New York Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, a Democrat and co-sponsor of the bill, asserted in the summer of 2021 that the law’s fundamental consequence would be the expansion of voting rights. However, New York Republicans strongly opposed the legislation, contending that it would compromise the integrity of elections and unconstitutionally diminish the power of U.S. citizens’ votes.

 Shortly after the law’s enactment in January 2022, legal challenges were mounted by opponents, including then-state Republican chairman (now U.S. Representative) Nick Langworthy. In response to the bill’s passage in December 2021, Langworthy pledged to pursue legal action to prevent what he deemed a dangerous and unconstitutional law.The initial legal setback for “Our City, Our Vote” came when Judge Ralph Porzio of the New York State Supreme Court for Staten Island ruled that the legislation violated the state Constitution, emphasizing that every citizen is entitled to vote. Despite the lower court’s decision, New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ administration defended the law and appealed the ruling.The recent appeals court decision dealt a blow to those efforts, and it remains unclear whether Mayor Adams’ office intends to file another appeal. Republican Representative Nicole Malliotakis hailed the decision as a victory for preserving election integrity and the voice of American citizens.
