With his South Carolina win, the race is almost officially over. Question is, how is Trump so far ahead? Is it the fact he was already President and still has those MAGA supporters? Is it his message that resonates with the Republican base? Is it because of the poor showing of his many primary opponents?
I believe it is just a lazy notion that after seeing Trump as president and dominating the party for over eight years it was all but inevitable. Even with the insurrection and the many lawsuits. Trump is the head of the party and the coattails are everyone else.

Their aren't any other players.
Right now it's Biden/Trump, and I almost find that unacceptable.
