My problem with recreational drugs is that it is setting us up, as a country and as a society, for complete disaster. All it takes is a chemist with the "perfect" chemical compound to get people addicted after only one use (pretty close with Xylazine and Fentanyl), coupled with a government looking for ways to turn huge populations into compliant zombies.
Xylazine, a powerful animal tranquilizer known on the streets as "tranq", is actually an extremely potent form of fentanyl. Not that ordinary Fentanyl isn't super-potent enough. But, Xylazine doesn't even respond to Narcan. Do y'all think this is some kind of anomaly? Drugs don't get stronger, more potent and more addictive from here? Think again. Drug addiction is the easiest way to control huge populations of people. Our enemies know this. When will our own leaders wake up from their stupor, realize this too and protect our nation against it?

We can't sustain as a country with people addicted to drugs. I can assure you that Americans, including Joe Biden, allowing hoards of invaders into our country, by the tens of millions, is largely due to drug-induced apathy. Yes, half of the population has IQ's below 100, but with drug use, I am sure that number is far greater. It takes a vigilant, productive, engaged nation of people to protect what we have. But, I see it as Drugs which have lead to apathy, diversion and inattention to what matters which have enabled idiots to run our country and not make decisions in the best interest of its citizens. There will be a "perfect drug", and you, me, and those few who do not use drugs at all, will be surrounded by addicted zombies who only care about getting their drugs, no matter what it takes. Government will realize this, control it and use it for their benefit. The rest of us - you and me - we'll just be in the way.

No one was talking about guns. We are talking about a problem this nation has with drug addiction. Guns do not cause drug addiction. They are simply a fundamental right guaranteed to us by the 2nd Amendment. An amendment that was enacted because our Founders recognized that there would be people like you, like Joe Biden who would give our freedom and our country away to foreign invaders.
