I am not asking if you think it counts. Of course it counts. The machines do a numerical count, then send in the results. I am asking if you think it matters. The approval ratings for congress have always been historically low. Our taxes go to other blood thirsty countries, it shouldn't surprise a soul that our politicians have acted contrary to the public's wishes. Yet, Americans walk around like it's all okay. I guess as long as we vote, everything will be just fine. It's not fine. We vote, nothing changes. We vote again, nothing changes. And we vote again and again...and again...and nothing. 


 

why do people believe their reality matters more than their time adapting as displaced ancestrally here all the time making believe every rotation of the planet is a different tomorrow adapting as displaced since conceived today.

I do vote even knowing there is an 80% chance the 2024 election is rigged as 2020, 2022 was. Only game allowed in humanity to even believe I have a chance to change corruption forward.

I'm sitting on the fence until November ......If Trump loses that will be more than enough proof for me that it doesn't....

That's a good point.  Logic would say that this should be a landslide in Trump's favor. There will always be the **** blue states, like California, who will vote against him. However, logic and reason would say that Trump should take it by a wide margin.

My vote matters in my State and local elections, but I feel the Federal contests are already decided before election day for the most part. 

That's why 2016 was so much fun to watch. Trump slipped in there and gummed up everything.

Why does everyone call urban sprawl within overpopulated counties blue states? This is why democracy fails every generation practiced.

Yes, it matters.  Now, how much it matters depends on the level of the election.  In city level elections (city council, mayor, school board), the matter a great deal, though even at this level the size of the city and the seat can lessen the importance.  In county level elections, you vote matters less.  At the state level, it matters more for your House rep than it does for the State Senate...governor matters a little less.  In elections for US Congress...House can matter, a great deal if it is a "purple" district. In US Senate elections your vote typically matters little.  Nobody, unless you happen to be an elector, votes for President of VP.

 

If it didn't matter, then no one would be bitching about 2020.

If my vote mattered, the people I vote for would do the things they promised that got me to vote for them.

leaderships and fellowships to ideas life isn't self evident won't stand against their own beliefs. gee why won't people get alone trained to agree to disagree how living is evolving in plain sight?

Multiply that by 5 generation gaps, sibling rivalries, family disputes, choices in faith, economic values, chasing tomorrows that never actually happen evolving as mutually existing here now since conceived.

Everything of matter counts individually here, your vote doesn't matter how evolving doesn't change works ancestral numbers added so far, just the behavior each does cradle to grave.
