Inflation higher prices is when our government $pends so much money .

Our "Federal Reserve System" too kept Interest way too low .

Now back in the 1980s/ 1990s we could still "Live Decent" ..

Today wages and prices structure way outta whack..

Ya know a working man should be able afford a home & his car & feed his family too..

Today unless ya rolling it up on "Credit" ya can't have that anymore..

Because once ya loose your job or get "Sued" there goes everything..

Then I guess we should all buy tents & sleep by the freeway and smoke dope..

Eh then you are a "Protected Class" Too like a Wildlife Refuge at the State Park..

Find me a good shelter near a bigger town I could steal a shopping cart dumpster dive for scrap metal and sign up Donate Plasma..

On the Trail other hikers were generally good people share their food even booze, rolling up a Doober, for a "Wake & Bake"..

At that time I was trying be "Sober" make effort .

I enjoyed every morning just get up making ramen and instant coffee 4 breakfast..

When I stopped in a Real Town I'd find a All Ya Can Eat or a Pizza Joint .

Belly Up cause I "Starving" after all that walking..

In those little towns ya meet "Good People" too

By Nantahala North Carolina I was was about half "dead"..

The people I was hiking with came into Agreement that I wasn't gonna make the "Climb" up Nantahala..

Got me a ride into Asheville dropped me off at The Grayhound Station tooks bus back 2 Chicago

The only people who should want a return to the gold standard are people with a huge amount of gold. It won't do anything for the 'working class' guy you say you care about.

Congress has passed a few bills over the years but got voted down .

Estimates are that we hold like 9/10 thousand solid tons of gold

That's still twice as much as China & Russia "Combined"..

I remember back when I was a Kid..

Dimes, Half Dollars, & Quarters pre 1964 were "Real" Silver ..

Being an enterprising kid back then Silver prices exceeded the "Melt Value" for the change..

I would go allover town buy rolls of dimes and quarters at the banks and sort them..

Then I'd once I saved up abuncha them ride my bike over to the Jewelery & Pawn Shop..

He current prices posted on the board and take what ya got & weigh It

Oh you need shock value to gain attention. Funny thing about bringing things up everyone ignores on purpose, they respond in shock anyone would say it, then all shocked will target the person to be eliminate from every arena of ideas suggesting life is more than actually evolving here now..

I remember them. I miss them also...I don't miss PeePee. He was a moron. Ohm is sole result, who is now some other name on here.
