I get PRE APPROVED INVITATIONS, dickhead!  I had a gold card for business and a Blue card for personal use for decades until they refused a dispute I had with a merchant for a couple of hundred bucks, so I cancelled both, after using their cards for over $25K a year.  And they've lost all that over a $200 dispute.
Sounds like the kind of economic decision that an ignorant dope like you would make!   

What makes you think I wouldn't qualify if I wanted one now?

And exactly how does that prove that I wouldn't qualify for one if I wanted it?
Just as an aside fyi, I also cancelled a Discover card I had about 25 years ago because they also refused to intervene favorably in a dispute I had with a merchant.
And I also get pre-approved invitations to obtain a new account with them all the time as well.

You should be so lucky to have the kind of credit line I enjoy, especially after my credit rating includes the fact that I just bought a new home in December for over $500K in an all-cash purchase, then selling my previous home in north Jersey for over a million in February.

If you did, maybe you could afford a better car than the 20+ year old heap you're currently forced to drive!
