So where are the CRIMINAL CHARGES since possession in NY State is a FELONY without a LICENSE TO POSSESS!!!
Oh wait!! She's a DEMOCRAT, so there won't be any!!
4 years in the POKEY should be enough, but nope, not even a wrist slap!!
Carroll testified in court in January that she had the "high standard revolver, nine chambers" and ammunition near her bed. "I still do not have a license," she said of the firearm while testifying.
The local police who paid the February visit to Carroll's home said she surrendered the firearm after authorities "offered to secure the weapon at the police station's property for safekeeping" until Carroll obtains a New York pistol license, per NBC News.
The outlet also noted that New York's state code is pretty clear: "a person can be found guilty of criminal possession if they possess a firearm, such as a pistol, that has not been registered," a felony that "carries a maximum sentence of four years."
"It was unclear why police waited almost a month to inquire in person about the unregistered gun Carroll said she had at her house or whether police are still in possession of it," NBC News added.
Indeed. Is it generally New York's practice to learn of an unlawfully owned firearm and stay hands-off for a month? And then only to show up for a polite chat?
The fact that Democrats and their allies get what appears to be the kid glove treatment when it comes to gun felonies — all while the same rant and rave about the dangers of guns and why not even lawful owners should be allowed to have them — is another sad reality of the two-tiered system of justice that has deepened in recent years.
While law-abiding firearm owners come under continued attempts by Democrats to regulate or outright ban the firearms they use for protection or hunting, a darling of the Democrats can admit under oath that she illegally owns one and face few, if any consequences.

She's a FELON that won't be arrested nor prosecuted.
Dems get a PASS on nearly everything they DEMAND someone on the right gets tossed in prison for. No charges, no admonishments, nothing.
