couple thousand 22LR for my dads old marlin model 60

it’s not very impressive 

but it is very effective

Lil Guy, I have fired thousands of rounds of 5.56 with an M 16, 7.62 with an M 60D, a 9 mil Beretta, a .38. and .45, both ACP and .45.

I am not in this thread to discuss your obsession about cases and questions or comments not about the topic.  So, if you have something to add to my comments about the topic, such as your experiences with the weapons mentioned, by all means, go for it.
