Is there an equivalency that can be made between fast food workers and army soldiers?

We have more and more so-called robotic hamburger flippers to take over the mundane jobs.
Probably makes sense in the larger picture since the mass from which to draw personnel has been
getting lower and lower in quality for many years.

So, robotic and higher tech army personnel and machines goes the same way.
Makes sense in the larger picture. Sending in waves of not-yet-dead people gets messy in more ways than one.

I'll remember this post in 4 months when Ukraine is still getting their asses whooped and our congress is debating the next 100 billion they need to save the Ukrainian people and democracy.

war: the elite pick the fight and send "the people" to fight and die.  Be much simpler to put the elite in a stadium and let them settle their differences in gladiatorial to the death combat for all to see....be a lot less wars too....same thing for political party leaders.

that pattern is worldwide when it comes to American taxpayer money and the outlandish borrowing done by the people we trust to run things.  Elected officials have basically bankrupted us.....Americans voted for it....we deserve it now....it wouldn't stop even if they didn't vote for it....it's both sides doing it.  What America needs is to become 50 republics...each doing it own thing but yet with a common bond for defense, commerce and the like.  If a state fails...so be it.  People can move to get away from things they don't like and if they don't it's on them.

and that Putin's power and inner circle were imploding.  None of this is true - all made up.

Russians are VERY sensitive about their Western border.

They know NATO provoked this war.
