Let's take a hypothetical situation. Put procreation aside. Both genders need each other for that, so it cancels out anyway. Let's say tomorrow all men vanish. Poof. They are gone. Well, given that most industrial and infrastructural jobs are completed by men, such as building roads, skyscrapers, construction for building...anything, cleaning and maintaining the city's sewage pipes, maintaining power lines, maintaining and building the power grids, building houses, bricklaying, carpentry, farming, and pretty much anything that is required for survival, the men are in charge of that.
Now, let's say women vanish. Men wouldn't know the difference because we already do almost every thing anyway. The only difference we would notice is that the world would be more quiet.
Women would starve to death in about 6 months. Men would carry on like nothing happened.

Not to be captain obvious but without women.. the species ceases to exist after 100 years or so. Robot equivalents are not the same.

That's why I left that exception out in the OP. We need each other for procreation, so it cancels out anyway.

Relative time within a perpetual balancing universe every universal position naturally maintains its time where physically occupying space as each cycle present.

Why wouldn't you just prefer to program a beautiful female robot to be bitchy, if that's what you want? You wouldn't have been conceived to evolve without a female egg cell and male sperm cell specifically became one lifetime from previous generation adding another changing population evolving forward each rotation in a row. Someone has to bring this up in a thread like this title suggests about half of what it takes to reproduce a next generation replacement.
Needing to survive requires being born in the first place. Arriving at birth requires being conceived and that takes both genders living spontaneously in same space at the same time to merge their relative reproductive cells to become one fertilized cell creating a completely separate ancestor from any every conceived before.
The specificity of existing this rotation of the planet each rotation one became part of the species like no other conceived before or since being the same egg and sperm as before present as a body never staying same form as that original fertilized cell.
Unique arrives in series parallel compounding changes never duplicating results changing details all the time when individually occupying space this rotation like all others since replacing one's previous generation gaps specifically lived to this rotation here.
Life never duplicates ancestors in any species, just adds separate replacements in over lapping sequence of events specifically existing now. Evolving process works same way throughout the current food chain, again this rotation and any in sequence forward here.
