FINALLY... an ELITE University has used its Intelligence, and come to the OBVIOUS CONCLUSION... THAT "diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)" is an IDIOTIC "Liberal" approach to creating an ELITE university... and doesn't work:
MIT President Dr. Sally Kornbluth said she decided to eliminate mandatory diversity statements from the school's hiring process because "compelled statements impinge on freedom of expression, and they don’t work."
On Sunday, the school confirmed to UnHerd that it was removing a requirement that mandated all prospective faculty submit a diversity, equity and inclusion statement during the hiring process. A university spokesperson told Fox News Digital that "requests for a statement on diversity will no longer be part of applications for any faculty positions at MIT" and added that the decision was made by the school’s president, Sally Kornbluth, with the support of the Provost, Chancellor, and all six academic deans.
"My goals are to tap into the full scope of human talent, to bring the very best to MIT, and to make sure they thrive once here," Kornbluth said. "We can build an inclusive environment in many ways, but compelled statements impinge on freedom of expression, and they don’t work."

I'm hearing that the Russian economy is in REALLY DEEP ****... even if all the numbers that the Kremlin puts out are rosy... the word from within the Kremilin is Inflation is RISING, and the GDP is tanking... and the economy is in a WORLD of HURT !!

Russians are against the war... Ukrainians will fight to the death, NATO now understands that Russia MUST be defeated (INCLUDING France !!), and although the U.S.A. seemed a little squirrelly for a while... (because it's the political season)... THEY, NEVERTHELESS... came thru with more arms for Ukraine, and I don't see that stopping !!
I don't care what we "HEAR " from Russia and China... BOTH are hurting economically... China's economic engine (Real Estate and Exports) are imploding... The real estate system was a CORRUPT CABAL and the Chinese people are NOW paying for it... and American companies are GETTING the HELL OUT of China ! Russia? Everything coming out of the Kremlin SOUNDS ROSY... but WHO believes THAT??
It would be better for Russia if someone put a Putin OUT of his misery, and Russia GAVE UP the "Russian Empire" dream... and JOINED the WORLD community !!
