I am guilty during Covid and just after of tipping way more than normal. But now I am getting a little sick of the expectation of tipping. Good service and my regular places yes, I take care of them well. But most of these entitled assholes don't deserve it. It seems like service and attitude has declined extensively.

Every retail outlet that has the pad screen checkout set up has a tip option added to the transaction.

I was in a liquor store I hadn't been in for a minute a couple of weeks ago and they had the tap card iPad rig for check out and sure as ****, it prompted me to leave a tip before finalizing the total.

WTF is that?

A tip at the liquor store?

When that little machine prompts me to tip the cashier when I'm carrying out or grocery shopping, I got no problem declining while staring back at them intensely
