Peter Thorwarth is a German director. New to me.
I caught a couple of his movies on Netflix recently. Both worth a look.

   Blood Red Sky

Some people hate subtitles so much they can't watch.
I'd rather have that than the dubbed voices much of the time.
These are action movies for the most part so that makes it simpler.

Side note:
When I was in Paris, they were running old American shows for some reason.
They were over-dubbed in French but had English subtitles.
The Rifleman speaking French in the wrong voice (they never seem to get that right).
 

FYI

Kanopy and Hoopla are streaming services accessed through your library membership.

They have some odd things I could not find on other services that cost money.
...and they are free.
Sure, you're limited to how many you can "borrow" each month, but the price is right.
History, documentaries, lectures, weird old movies, some relatively new.

**** weird movie. 3 hrs. I liked it.

Most new movies of the "action persuasion" have so-called strong women leads.
It's a trend.
But, can a woman even take a punch at all?
It's all supposed to be showing women in a better light, right? Improve society 'n' ****.

Feminism has taught me to NOT hold a door open (or offer help in any way).
Can I now test for the glass jaw on a broad that needs an ***-kicking?
I mean, theoretically she'll pop back up and beat MY ***.

Philip Seymour Hoffman in Almost Famous is some of the best dialogue ever.

The movie itself is a hidden gem, but Hoffman shines.

I watched "Changeland" today.
Decent movie you'll never hear about.

I am enjoying little hidden treasures. Streaming has been quite nice.
Little treasure means: Decent content/never to be found on cable or dish.
Doesn't have to be best ever to be watchable.

Cut the wire about a year ago.
Paying a fraction of what I was for a couple streaming services and enjoying some non-mainstream stuff.

If you are willing to imagine anything else possible, why won't you admit the one thing that never has physically occurred beyond historical interpretations of new days by either dawn, midnight, new moon, winter solstice that happens twice this planet's revolutions around the star last factually stated 5 billion revolutions recited within one species just the last 7,000 years by the Gregorian calendar only established in the 16th century?
