Carriers are useless.  They were great projecting power over small
countries with little to no air defense or ground to sea missiles.
You know, small countries with oil/gas to steal.

Give it a rest. Your ideology has as many holes as rule of law supplies so many loopholes to exclude those in charge from the duties those being loyal have to follow or else be ridiculed, shunned, exiled until complying to speculation life isn't self evident.

The weird part is that if this vid (and many more out there like it) explains the weaknesses, why wouldn't our Brain Trust also know the same **** and more?
One would think they'd be all over this and working on an upgrade.

Then, you can read about Ford Motor Company veering into the EV market because their brain trust felt losing over FIVE BILLION was not so bad.

So much for counting on a brain trust...  The bigger the stakes, the bigger the mistakes.

The last big war had battle ships. That was the end of their usefulness.
Carriers are a neat part of history. Too expensive to be the point of the spear anymore.
