We all remember that democRats were OCCUPYING wall street just a few years before they got into bed with Big Pharma and became proto-fascist marketers for experimental medicines. But this discrepancy is not anomalous - not a one-off. The fact is, democRats have been altered in more than just their genitals.
I can distinctly remember leftists calling people out for science fallacies, as opposed to embracing them. The very idea of leftists, en masse, stepping over obvious authority fallacies the likes of "I am X because I SAY I am X" was unthinkable in the living memory of this very board. Jon Stewart would have been BRUTAL with anyone embracing such anti-science twaddle.
It was not until about 2016 - perhaps due to terminal TDS? - that democRats entirely lost all connection to Aristotelean science, becoming magical-thinkers incapable even of discerning the most basic fallacies - becoming ****-fingered, uneducated, credulous midway rubes who DEFEND fallacies.
The long-debunked, Davos-inspired climate-change grift could never have passed muster with the old left, which was SKEPTICAL of state power - not worshipful of it.
It is no longer possible to reach these people - to share a polity with these people. They have turned against their own families. They are clinically insane by definition. They have become woman-haters with extreme mommy issues, insisting that mommy shower with men and pretend to support their invasion of previously sex-segregated safe spaces at peril of being labeled "bigots." Their magical thinking is truculent, bellicose, and willful - and they are PROUD of it. The only thing that I can see to do is mock them for retards and prepare for the inevitable civil dissolution their insanity will ultimately require.

I BRUTALIZED a leftard in the airport security line a couple of days ago. He was wearing a rather clever shirt that said "Vote" inside of concentric circles in a take-off of a Tide Laundry Detergent logo. Beneath was written "The only way to remove orange stains." Possession of a penis and scrotum are an objective measure that define a primate as male. Calling that primate a female - or that primate calling itself a female - does not make it one. It remains objectively male, and denial of this objective reality remains anti-science.
In science, I reminded him, that is known as an "authority fallacy" - and only the parents of young children are legitimately able to use "Because I SAY so" as an authoritative utterance. Males are not magically transformed into females, nor females into males, by rote recitation of some magical utterance. The obvious mental wound left by his incapacity to refute this simple utterance was writ large on his face. I feared (but also hoped) he might burst into tears.

Define socialism. Trump gave *** colleges money for free because they were *** colleges.

What about giving Big Labor the protectionism they lost under Reagan? That was SOCIALIST right up until Trump did it. The conjobs on this very board called me a commie and a socialist when I championed protectionism to bring jobs home. Again - define socialism for us. If it's condemnable and bad when these guys do it, it needs to be condemnable and bad when those guys do it. And as far as I can see, both sides do it, writ large, on the regular. The only thing that shifts is who they do it FOR. Who they do it TO doesn't shift much, and who they do it FOR doesn't, either, really.
And while we are on the topic, two questions:
1. Can you name a single "capitalist" country that does not have an enormous socialist component?
2. Do you have any idea how quickly America would become a failed state if not for socialist policies?
