Do you believe there should be govt run universal healthcare...in some form or another?
ObamaCare was NEVER UHC.

Do you believe a college education should be a public funded enterprise
just like local ISDs?  Again, in some form or another?
 

Why is every question about believing? ever discuss something as physical absolutes besides hyperbole, hypothetical probability tomorrow actually happens every 12 hours of every 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 56 seconds per planet rotation.

The left THINKS it wants universal higher education. But it would be horrified.

Every country that has universal higher education has a STRICT meritocracy around it. You have to have the best marks to be in line and you have to pass annual boards that are rigorous and not shaved for nigritude - or it's off to trade school with ya. Universal higher education would be a limited resource, doled out based on merit. Imagine how that would make left-*** shriek.

Unfortunately, things like universal health care and universal higher education won't work in a fake country. I am for them in real countries, though.

I never thought that you had anything to conceal brother man

I was just curious as well

I am for UHC for all the normal reasons 

like why spend our tax dollars on war and corporate welfare and that jazz

but it would do far more than that

large companies that offer medical coverage would have compete with small companies that can’t afford to offer it

making pay and working conditions the key factor in choosing a job

If companies don’t have you scared to death over losing your HC 

you could go where you want

If you wanted to start a small business , your hiring pool would increase 10 fold

I really think that would make a big difference in our economy 

not to mention the feeling that regular folks would have knowing that they won’t have to file bankruptcy if someone in their family get sick or hurt  (even with insurance)

as far as free college goes

Im not for paying for some liberal arts degrees and **** like that

Im for technical and trade schools being part of our free educational system 

the country is already OK with 12 years of (arguably) worthless education in our schools 

but not a couple more years for something that you could actually use to improve your life?

I think that it should and could be done 

I think that it is the right thing to do

Russia's/China's university systems work in the way that you present, but with this caveat....

"matimatika".....aka....STEM education.  I recall an event where Putin was talking with kids
as he does often.  A young lady of about 15yo told Putin she wanted to earn a graduate degree
in international relations and represent Russia with all her heart.  Putin looked at her and after
an uncomfortable time passing he replied..."""matimatika needs your patriotism"".

And so, they provide the ""free-est" education to those that benefit ...community... the most.
