A human rights activist has issued a grave warning about "Death to America" chants being bellowed on the streets of America. The anti-US political slogan has been widely used in the Middle East but is becoming increasingly prevalent in the US in the wake of the Israel-Gaza conflict as many activists take aim at the government for its perceived inaction.
Speaking in GBN America’s exclusive documentary, America’s Muslim City, human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali warned the chant is part of “bringing the world under Islam dominion”. She said the slogan is an act of ‘Da’wah’, which she explains is to “literally call or to invite non-Muslims to Islam”.
She added: “It’s a very ambitious project to bring the world under Muslim dominion. “It’s a process of subversion”, she said. “It’s a subversion of the foundational principles of America. It’s a subversion of the institutions of America. In 2006, it was unthinkable for a man born and raised in Michigan to shout to a large group of a Muslim audience, ‘death to America and death to Israel’.
“In 2024, it’s happening. That is a clear-cut result of years of Da’wah.” Hamtramck, Michigan became the first city in the United States to elect a Muslim-majority city council.
