rather than feeding the hungry and providing homeless usa people with basic shelters. biden gives your tax money to the jews of israel and ukraine. because you elected biden, you like poverty. slums. decay of usa. and want  more inflation, with a higher dow. only a minority of usa citizens what to earn their money by an honest day's work. they are suckers. for me. i will lie, cheat and steal for money. and care less about the 40.8 million who live in biden's poverty. plus, give the jews money for killing people; world is overpopulated.

That's a complete joke. A single person would not be able to make ends meet with $31,200 unless you live in the **** middle of nowhere, let alone 2 adults + 2 kids. 

One nasty expense like your car breaking down or getting some stress-induced illness (very common these days with people working multiple jobs) = debt slavery.

Presumably this number counts government transfers but it would still not be enough. 

For medium COL places like Houston, I would say the poverty threshold for 4 is at least $70K.
For high COL places like SF/Seattle you'd need at least $100K.

(This is just to pay for basic expenses, forget about luxuries like vacations.)

Exactly. Where the hell does the government come up with these numbers? Maybe in 1930, that $31,200 would support a family of 4. This is 2024. That number is pennies. Here in Vegas, the cheapest lot, not home, but just the lot is $32,000. This is an a **** hole swamp area where you can smell the sewage. So a family of four could go to Walmart and get a couple of tents to pitch on it. Forget buying a car. They will need to walk to work.

I believe even in the 70s, $30K would have been a middle class income (if I recall the numbers correctly). $30K then is like $180K now. 

$180K for a family of 4 today is much closer to what actual “middle class” is and not the gaslit numbers coming out of the regime.
