They've been selling half dozens forever, and I paid 2.99 for a DOZEN large cage free this week.

If you are a REAL hunter, not some douche compensating for a tiny peepee, you operate under a code. You respect that you eat, because something dies.

You've never killed anything except paper....you do talk a big game, though.

So, yea...if feeding me requires the death of something, I think it should be afforded humane treatment. 

After all, many things we eat are MUCH smarter than you.

But I can appreciate why you would need to validate your "manhood" [sic] by mistreating poultry.

There have always been half dozen egg cartons. It is meant for people who use eggs for baking, but don't eat fried eggs. Also, a lot of single, and seniors, people don't eat a lot of eggs.

I was seeing half dozen egg cartons 40 years ago. And you just noticed?

Chickens seem to be the big fad these days. Everyone and their brother has them here. I like it tho- the eggs are better. Most charge 3- dozen. But the eggs are good- and they have to buy the feed etc.

They eat ticks.

I wanted a covey of quail, but they'd be devoured in a matter of days.

I didn't know that. We're infested up here. Usually i have a free range dog- I've got him on a rope now. 13 ticks on him in 2 days last year- when he ran wild. One right between his eyes. and he bites!
yuk maybe by July- i'll let him loose again. i feel bad about that.

Now they're even active in winter.

If you have a dog, call your doctor and ask for a prescription for doxycyclene, but only take it if you are sicker than you've ever been AND you've ruled out Covid.

That ****'s a miracle.

what's the ones that suck off the dog- and land on the floor like a Huge dead california raisin? We get those too. i've read they're looking for a mate- good luck finding one on my rugs.
I came from long island. when i was kid... moist area. We had Irish setters... They luved the hair. my grandfather would come over daily and pick ticks.lol

We help each other out when they are out of town i feed the chickens

I don't buy real eggs.  I buy egg beaters which are made from egg whites.  On the economy I was paying close to 7 bucks for a quart.  On post I pay around 4.50.
