the Old Testament was created by Pagan Roman emperor about the stories of religions worshipping one God instead of many and that wasn't written until nearly 4 centuries after Jesus was crucified for not being part of any religion in the middle east which was the gateway to 3 continents Asia, Europe, Africa which controlled trade in all 4 directions of north, south, east, west.
So the Story of Moses vs North Africa savages, Orient to the east, Barbarians to the north, pagan heathens to the west.
