I don't agree with much of what AOC has to say, but she is right about this. Right wing Republicans are on the take for serious money. They have gone rogue. It's time to rein those swine in.

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) on Tuesday said they will be introducing legislation in response to the increased ethics concerns related to the Supreme Court.Ocasio-Cortez and Raskin, who serve as the ranking and vice-ranking members, respectively, on the House Oversight Committee, were part of a committee roundtable Tuesday regarding these concerns. They explored various “avenues” for holding Supreme Court justices accountable.
“And so, it is not a question…of if Congress has jurisdiction and power over the Supreme Court. It is, what power are we going to exercise in order to rein in a fundamentally unaccountable and rogue court?” Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday night.
“Congressman Raskin and myself will be introducing forthcoming legislation to even have the Supreme Court be subject to the same $50 gift rule that he and I are subject to, as everyone else who are members of Congress,” she added later. "They are grifters on the take. Complete sell-outs."The Supreme Court has come under scrutiny over the past year following a series of reports detailing various undisclosed luxury trips, gifts, and questionable extrajudicial activities involving multiple justices. The reports spiked interest in congressional oversight of the justices’ behavior and the gifts they accept.

Nothing like a fundamentally unaccountable and rogue congress reigning in a fundamentally unaccountable and rogue supreme court. 

I find it rather humorous that the "right wing" court hasn't stopped the steady left wing slide into perversion and gender insanity. For my money, the SCOTUS is as right wing as chairman mao. 

The congress has a fifty dollar "gift" rule - but they can take bribes of unlimited quantities. It is amazing how prescient they tend to be when investing in companies they regulate. 

I will give AOC this much - she seems to piss off wall street, and she has a broad base of small donors. But we both know she sold cheap to pelosi and **** her constituency - no matter HOW stupid they may be to keep supporting her. She and the other far left members had the ability to put up the fight they promised - and chose to play ball instead. 

It'll be mighty interesting to see what they come up with to "reign in" the "right wing" court.

Both Dems and Cons are strangely fixated on genitalia. Cons want women fitted for chastity belts, but they like **** young guys up the *** in airport restroom stalls. Dems want to dress up and flash the kids in the local library. Freaks, the lot of them.

So they pass a law that the SC can rule is unconstitutional. Who votes for these clowns?

I'm trying to figure out what "power" she has over the judicial system as they are a separate, but equal part of gubment...

Yeah, I would need to see a link about the chastity belt claim.

That sounds more like personal butthurt than factual reporting. 

And as much fun as Larry Craig gave us, I think Ted Kennedy murdering a woman was on TED KENNEDY and not barrack obama. But if you INSIST on this silly metric, then every democrat lives to swim away from drowning women.
