Murder rates and mass shootings make national headlines, defining the discussion over pervasive gun violence. But most gun deaths in America are self-inflicted. There were about 27,000 gun suicides in 2022. That was a record, and far higher than the 19,500 gun homicides documented that year.

I don't care if consenting ammosexuals gather in a pit and indulge their cravings for large capacity magazines and bump stocks therein, even if they do so while gyrating obscenely to a Village People beat......

You do count suicides.  In their category, where they belong.  I don’t know why you fear firearms, ******, but get over it.  You live in one of the most gun free states in the country,  I know each day you awake in fear but you have to grow up and get over it, ******.

When you speak of gun violence, meaning violence from one person to another, you are not discussing suicide.  Suicide has its own category.  I thought you were pro choice?  Who are you to stop someone who chooses to use a gun on their own body?
