I don't know who the hell comes up with this ****, but that can't be further from the truth. It's a nice sounding punch line, but that's about it. 

• First, it isn't a individual voice. It's a collective one with society. 
• Second, if Americans haven't figured out by now that our government is tainted with unchecked corruption, lobbyists, billionaire influences, and Jews, then this society is truly lost.

There is another option; I mean other than rioting. The other option is to go the other way and not vote at all in the presidential elections. Think about it. We say that if one candidate wins, then Americans have spoken about who they wanted. Turn the tables on that. If nobody voted, then that kind of silence would speak volumes. And @Blackvegetable  , I am not going to dumb that metaphor down for you; figure it out. 

 
 

There are no "federal elections". Every election you cast a vote in is a state or local election.

Besides, the overwhelming majority of "governing" that impacts you everyday life is done close to home. Local school boards decide how your schools are ran after the state legislature has set the "big picture" parameters. The city council and county governments set the majority of the codes and laws that determine unimportant things like the business environment, what types of development happens, how police, fire and public hospitals are funded and operate, etc. They are the ones responsible for maintaining the infrastructure you used the majority of the time. It is much easier to have "your voice heard" at those levels, especially if you get off your lazy *** and get involved.
