- Musk and Open AI top execs and data scientists leave their AI companies for other places to work.
- I just saw from @Sumela 's thread that top executives from Microsoft are fleeing to work in China instead.
- Facebook lost some top developers also.
What is keeping them from starting something on their own?

Better infrastructure, less crime, non-existent LGBTQ ***/pressure, better place to raise a family.

They are not employees. They are contractors. If they ARE employees, they are very well remunerated ones.

That is quite far from the truth. Like miles from the truth. The system is set up so the ambitious hard working middle class can only take one step forward without having to take two steps back. There are millions and millions of hard working ambitious people in the country who are anything but lazy.

You can't have top people without middle people and bottom people.
It's how the working man is doing that is the proper measure of a system's quality - the exceptional rise in ANY system. And when we were under FDR's game rules in America, the working man was doing PRETTY **** GOOD. (Google, largest middle class in history).
When we got off those game rules, the working man's lot began to go to **** and the middle class began to shrink. (Google: Reagan was a real piece of ****).

Perhaps it's the fact that they don't have any ideas about something new they could create.
Or they don't have the money to invest, to start up a new company.

Your contention about hard working is just ****......most can't even work 40 hours a week without whining about it. I averaged over 80 hours a week and didn't take a vacation for 30 years.

You worked 80hrs a week and didn't take a vacation in 30 years. I know of entrepreneurs, in real estate and tech industries, who work about 10 hours a week and they always seem to be on vacation. Go figure.

My Son's HS Class of 2000 was at least 1/2 "Grunge / Wigger ./ Dopers uninterested in sports, academics, etc.and only 60% of the boys graduated from this middle class HS.
I imagine the percentage of social trend addicted QUEER LEMMINGS has skyrocketed at that HS by now.
