The reason he does that is to obtain control. He is a genuine narcissists. Narcissists don't just want control over others, they literally need it. They must have it. 

The way he does that over the internet is to keep himself as the one who asks the questions and keep others answering. The one who asks the questions are the ones who have the control. That is why he asks so many questions. He isn't inquisitive, he is trying to maintain control. In other words, it's how he hides. He hides behind incessant questions/demands. 

That is also why he doesn't answer questions. If he does, it is rarely, if ever at all answered the first time around. He wants you to chase him around for the answer. 

I have imposed a rule against him. It's simple. He is not allowed to ask me questions or make demands until he habitually answers questions from all members the first time. Therefore, when he asks me a question or makes a demand, I say "rule, idiot. **** your questions/demands or 3k greenies."

As long as every alternate reality serving humanity won't accept how living is self evident time evolving here now, reasonable doubt enables typecasting everyone else but their own stereotypical behavioral patterns today each rotation of the planet every lifetime is specifically doing everything they did since birth, now.
