The party brains have determined since Biden has refused to step down and most American citizens have been negatively impacted by his inept performance that it's time to recruit more voters. 
You wondered why the southern border has been a turnstile for every miscreant to enter the country? The party knew well in advance that Biden had no chance to be re-elected by American citizens and put the wheels in motion to provide 20-30 million illegal aliens the ability to vote.
The Constitution means nothing to these zealots and is just another hurdle for them to jump over to promote their agenda of perversion.

Be honest about evolving in real time, most people I ever knew seek to understand how things remain absolutely corrupted everywhere all the time and rule of law doesn't allow questioning humanity as the source in any community organization sustaining reasonable doubt life is genetically self evident.

Most people defend half truths cradle to grave and in their frustration blame every other reality but their own which leaves every reality set out to disrupt every other reality today.
