Data released Thursday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that prices climbed 3 percent compared with last year, an improvement from the 3.3 percent annual figure notched in May. Prices also fell 0.1 percent over the previous month.

 Additionally, a key measure of inflation that strips out more volatile categories such as food and energy rose 3.3 percent over the past 12 months — the smallest annual increase since April 2021.

The "more volatile categories" are what people need to live...so I guess they aren't important.  In the last 4 calendar years (all under Dementia Joe), prices have increased 19.8%

Simple question.  What was inflation in Jun 2021 and what is it now?  Also, it 1.4 in Jan 2021 and then rose to over 9 in Jun 2022.

Apples and oranges.  Trump dealt with COVID from February of 2020 to January of 2021.  COVID didn't just appear in full force all over America all at once.  It slowly moved from the Northwest.  Biden inherited a full-blown nationwide pandemic.  I remember all you MAGA morons were laughing at Joe Biden and his socially distanced rallies at drive-in theaters while Trump was throwing super-spreader events like the one in Tulsa that Herman Cain attended maskless.  Funny stuff.
