Who was president on that day, genius?maineman » 11 Jul 2024, 10:44 am » wrote: ↑ https://ourworldindata.org/covid-deaths
The US death rate from COVID reached its absolute highest on January 21st, 2021 and, from that day on, it plummeted. Coincidence? I think not.
At the start of the day, it was the clown. When Joe took over, the death rate started falling rapidly. Can you read charts?

The point was that the US recovered better than economies similar to ours... because Team Biden did a better job than the administrations of those other countries. He should be lauded, not denigrated
My point is, you still have provided a link to support your assertion.maineman » 11 Jul 2024, 10:55 am » wrote: ↑ Your point? Are we going to move on to that weighty question about the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin next?

I bet Don Brandon's Chief Economic Advisor doesn't believe his boss has the IQ of an "inbred tanning bed".
And under which president were there far more deaths from Covid?maineman » 11 Jul 2024, 11:06 am » wrote: ↑ Joe woke up on his first full day in office after a late night of inaugural balls and parties, rolled up his sleeves, and got to work. Honestly, you've provided more than I expected and noticed you have now changed your assertion. Besides, I don't care about other economies...I have to pay bills and live in THIS economy, and inflation is much higher under Biden (which is the topic of this thread).

I would love to have zero inflation around the world.
I would love to have someone cure all cancers tomorrow.
I'd love to shoot my age on my home course.
I'd love to win PowerBall.
COVID happened. It **** up the economy of the entire globe and killed seven million people. Russia invade Ukraine which totally **** up the food chain around the world. **** happens. None of what happened was Joe Biden's fault. How we received - better than similar economies - was because of his leadership.

maineman » 11 Jul 2024, 11:24 am » wrote: ↑ Like I said... apples and oranges. COVID didn't happen all at once. The first three months, the death rate was really small. The steepest rise in the death rate happened under Trump. After Joe took office, there was STILL a lot of vaccine hesitancy but he did all he could to get more people vaccinated
