I recall Wolberg saying that if he was on the plane, then things would have gone much differently; he was implying that he would have stopped it. 

Another Hollywood actor who thinks quite highly of himself. Delusions of grandeur.

Well he didn't need to go "full ninja" because he and MacFarlane were given last second instructions by who knows who to cancel their flights.

There were also put options trades in the millions purchased for airline stocks, whose prices crashed 30-45% following 9/11. 

Depending on their expiration (typically insider traders wouldn't buy something with a short expiration date because it makes the fraud too obvious...for example Nancy and Paul Pelosi almost always buy options that expire 6-18 months out) they would've made 8-15x their money.

I also recall someone pointing out that mystery traders purchased millions of dollars in puts on the Israeli stock index right before the "Hamas incident" and made a good chunk.
