It was the daily newscasts between 1967 and 1972 that made me question humanity more than ever. How could a country so small lose so many each week and still keep fighting since France gave America the Vietnam war thanks to JFK.

From the very first day most of us set foot in Public School.
The 2 most outstanding students I went to school with were born to post WWII Russian immigrants.
They had to attend Russian School after their "American": school day was over.
Straight A students, one become a surgeon the other a lawyer / local politician.
There was another Russian family in our neighborhood and their kids were "easy going Slackers"..so they balanced out that end of the Gene Pool....

We only had one Russian family in our little central Texas town. Population was about 12,000.
