YES! Putters were somewhat popular about 15-20 years ago.DeezerShoove » 17 Aug 2024, 11:08 pm » wrote: ↑ I left my putter back at the cart one time and borrowed my buddy's putter.
He is a scratch golfer. I am terrible... until I'm on the green. At that point I am nearly his equal.
It's because when I borrowed this putter one time, it felt perfect for me, so I went out and found one.
I discovered it is not an easy putter to find anymore so I bought a back up. It's still shiny and almost new.
I'm still a terrible golfer but I don't care. Fun is where you find it.
...and yes. You can scoop up the ball from the putting surface.
I'm a scratch golfer...every time I hit the ball, I scratch my head...Sumela » 18 Aug 2024, 10:10 am » wrote: ↑ YES! Putters were somewhat popular about 15-20 years ago.
I very well recall that putter face. All golf stores had them.
Not so much now but they are still in bidness making putters. I just Googled and it
seems Adams Golf bought the YES! company.
I do not know any scratch golfers. Not one. Never even seen anyone shoot in the 70s.
All the fellas I play with are between 15-25 HCP

Its the only way I can continue to play the cussed game
Yes sir...I stretch my hams, hips, shoulders, etc
stretching the glutes is what works for me...knees tight into chest...guaranteed to knock 1/2 stroke of yer game...
Tiger once famously said after a bad round....that his glutes were not "firing".ROG62 » 18 Aug 2024, 11:58 pm » wrote: ↑ stretching the glutes is what works for me...knees tight into chest...guaranteed to knock 1/2 stroke of yer game...

Yes, I try and stretch every day...usually after a walk.
The only thing left is losing that 30# of beer gut...
Barely enough to reach the ball...Sumela » 19 Aug 2024, 11:40 am » wrote: ↑ Tiger once famously said after a bad round....that his glutes were not "firing".![]()
