If you had actually been in the Army like you claim, you'd know that the service chiefs ALWAYS ask for more money than they get in the final budget. Cutting the Dollar from fixed price of Gold gave us "Fiat" Currency and the Fed Reserve & Treasurury can just "Print" that at will too

Only Reason why a "Fiat Dollar" has worked last 50 years is we got "Military Power" and lots of Natural Resouces.
