• Assume candidate A gets endorsed by an highly intelligent deep thinker that is well known. Maybe a Nobel prize winner. Result: Nobody gives a ****.
• Assume candidate B gets endorsed by a celebrity. Maybe Taylor Swift or Oprah. Result: Masses of people get in a frenzy and votes for candidate B.

Americans are easily swayed by brainless celebrities, but couldn't care less by someone who knows how to think.

Seriously? A dirty dark family secret was let out after both my parents died.
I was a product of a german  doctor sperm donor. Because nasty pretend father was shooting blanks.
