And  started to build a block- get oil off the  US  based dollar. With all the populated countries. you know who they are.

well? We have so many farm stands here- I buy good eggs down the road? fairly cheap- I always bag up the cardboard cartons and return them to the egg lady. probably costs her 50 cents a piece?
chickens are hobbies here now- never  seen so many folks with chickens.

 I kid you not- we headed out to town the other day-   and you know those kiddie cars? they're about 4 feet long-- bright blue plastic? probably was bought for a kid at Toys-r-us
and there was a Goat in the drivers seat?    dam I should have a got a picture

My primary supplier only charges 3 per dozen - excellent eggs and cheaper than the ****-eggs at wally world. 

I got 7 eggs yesterday from my hens and 7 the day before. I have 16 hens and they're just coming on. They hatched between April 4 and 7, so they're 21 or 22 weeks old. Just starting to lay.

Considering buying about 10 more hen chicks - looking at golden comets. I have room for 30 or 40 more hens in my coop, but I'm not really feeling it. Even now, I have enough for my family. We go through 14-15 a day on average, counting what the dogs consume. I might buy ten more hens and might not. I am assessing. 

I have two roosters, and the beta totally knows his place - there's never any fighting. The alpha is a beautiful bird, mostly barred rock, quite big and very pretty. He is valiant. He gets between the hens and any danger, and at treat time, he always gives his treats to hens.
